Inspiration: Catholic Stuff You Should Know “Rule #1”
A fantastic episode reflecting on the idea of not being a jerk. From the Gospel:
You know that those who are recognized as rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones make their authority over them felt. But it shall not be so among you.
There is a tendency to just be a jerk when or because you can. I know I do it sometimes. Ultimately, a truly collaborative culture is one where all can be candid and call out such lording.
I’m not sure I’m ready for that candor. I also know I need it.
