Rain

Today we experienced that rare occurance of a day full of rain in Southern California.

It’s always strange to me how SoCal-ers freak out with the rain as if some hurricane was blowing in to the city. Boots, jackets, unsafe driving all are broken out at the merest hint of precipitation. As a Floridian, it brings a smile to my eyes as I stand there in the drizzle and parents/students hurry in with their umbrellas in tow.

I prefer Dancing in the Rain to Singing, but I definitely love it. It brought such joy to my day and to more than a few kids around campus.
